Each issue of this journal has been scanned, converted to text, and re-formatted to represent (as close as possible) the original printed paper.

NOTE: In the final issue of The New Times, the statement was made that this was the 767th issue. This seems to have been stated under the erroneous assumption that the journal had always been published monthly. However, since the journal ran weekly until 1952, and then fortnightly until 1965, this final issue was actually the 1575th issue!

Compiler's notes on Version 1.0
There are several features which we would dearly have liked to include in this release which did not make it to press due to constraints on time and limited expertise. These features may be incorporated in a later version, and include a) a more inter-active menu which persistently highlights the current issue being read, b) an internal search facility, and c) an index of contributors and photographs. Please feel free to contact us with any further suggestions you might have for new features. So much time and effort has been made to provide this archive as complete and error free as possible, so your notification to us of any errors you may find would be greatly appreciated.
