April 2007 Thought for the Week: "Humanity has once again stood at the crossroads. The choice : Life or Death. Death has been chosen for it. Once again we will witness the terrible tragedy of the world's youth being crucified upon the altar of war. The last war solved nothing. It left the world an embittered shambles, out of which a new and more terrible war has been born. My generation is again to be asked to die in the mud. In times of peace we have been crucified by the rotten economic system. In times of war we have been blown to hell to preserve that system. The time has come for us to pause and think " - - Eric D. Butler in "The Real Objectives of the Second World War," 1940s. |
ON THE JUSTICE OF ROASTING CHICKENSby Peter
Ewer Churchill wrote his essay shortly after September 11, 2001 and he said that the U.S. deserved and should have expected what it got. The victims of the World Trade Centre towers and Pentagon were "little Eichmanns" complicit in the criminal activity of the United States, "gears in its oppressive machine". This was somewhat extreme Left wing stuff, but some U.S. "far right" (that's us as well folks - according to our "enemies") agreed, but for different racially-based reasons. Churchill still faces charges which could see him being fired from his academic position, and become yet another victim of the war against free speech. Ward Churchill has published a book with AK
Press with the title "On the Justice of Roosting Chickens: Consequences of U.S.
Imperial Arrogance and Criminality". Although written from a Left wing perspective,
there is still useful information and arguments for us to consult. Churchill
provides in 46 pages a chronology of U.S. military activity beyond the Revolutionary
War, the Civil War, the war with Spain, World Wars I and II, the Korean War, the
Vietnam War, Afghanistan and the Iraqi Wars. Corporate profits not human freedom:
Churchill goes on to show that America is not the home of the free, but the unfree, and after the enactment of the 2001 USA Patriot Act, one of the most regulated of all peoples. Laws regulate all of the activities of the citizenry, including now, what books can be borrowed by libraries. Surveillance has become an accepted way of life. Much
of Churchill's argument carries over to Australia, which has been a junior partner
of the U.S.. Our freedoms have gone even more rapidly than those of the U.S. |
SORRY ABOUT HARMONY DAYby James Reed Headlines around the date of 21 March adequately refuted this teacher: "Extremist Students Take Over Mosque," (The Australian 21/3/07 p.34). Was this harmonic teacher reading the papers, and if she was, would it have helped clear the clouds from her head? I doubt it. Harmony Day used to be "sorry day", devoted to the "stolen generation". When all the legal claims fell over, it was time to 'up the ante' and bingo, from sorry to harmony. George Orwell was right: 1984 is here, now. It is the new world order of multicultural thought and regulation. |
IMMIGRATION, ECONOMICS AND FALLING BIRTH RATESby James
Reed Immigration
will benefit the economy and workforce - oh, but don't mention the infrastructure
costs, social costs and the water crisis. Immigration will deal with the problem
of an ageing population - yes, but only minutely because the age structure of
immigrants is not much better than Australian locals. On
this point, Victor Mallet ("Falling Births Not a Wealth Hazard," The Australian
5/2/07 p.20), points out that the economists themselves are increasingly inclined
to reject the idea that population growth is essential for economic growth. |
FROM FLIPPING BURGERS TO FLIPPING THE SUNby James
Reed Australia goes down the road of racial and national suicide while China maintains racial pride and national strength by believing in its own kind. Australia doesn't even want to have "its own kind" as the last 50 years of its immigration programmes shows. Let's destroy our culture, history and people. You won't find such nonsense being preached in China. Without a radical change, we face disappearing down the drain of history. |
IRAN, THE ISRAEL LOBBY AND BREAKAWAY JEWSby
Peter Ewer McConnell says that on New Year's day this year a conference was held in Israel. There Benjamin Netanyahu called for an "intense international public relations front" to persuade Americans to go to war against Iran. John Edwards, John McCain, Rudy Giuliani, Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney all addressed the conference either by satellite or in person. (Gingrich and Romney attended personally). These US presidential hopefuls, were in the words of Jewish Week "competing to see who can be most strident in defence of the Jewish state." All wanted to put the US at war to defend Israel. According to John Edwards, stopping Iran getting nuclear weapons was "the greatest challenge of our generation." Yes, even more than global warming and the other bag of tricks. McConnell
cites the case of General Wesley Clark, a Democrat presidential candidate contender
in 2004, who got into big trouble with the Israel lobby on the Iran war issue
when he said: McConnell goes on to point out that there were many Jewish blog sites and media sources which supported Clark, these Jewish voices being not merely from the Left but the liberal mainstream. Democrat political consultant Hank Sheinkopf said in the pro-Zionist New York Sun that: "New York is the ATM for American politicians. Large amounts of money come from the Jewish community. If you want dollars from that group, you need to show that you're interested in the issue that matters most to them" - and that issue is Israel and dealing with Iran. New York attorney Glenn Greenwald agreed with General Clark: "It is simply true that there are large and extremely influential Jewish donor groups which are agitating for a U.S. war against Iran, and that is the case because those groups are devoted to promoting Israel's interests for the U.S. to militarily confront Iran." McConnell says that the vision of the majority of Jews in the U.S., who do not want to see American nuclear strikes against Muslim cities "stands alone against the tremendously well-funded propaganda edifice of the Israel lobby, from AIPAC and the Anti-Defamation League, to the American Jewish Committee and multiple other groups, whose dark world view reaches deep into the conservative think tanks and the upper echelons of the Bush administration." Recently a new
organisation to represent British Jews was formed in Britain, Independent Jewish
Voices (IJV) as a counter-balance to the uncritical Israeli support of the
Board of Deputies of British Jews. Human rights lawyer Geoffrey Bindman is quoted in The Independent (16/2/07) as saying: "The easy assumption that all Jews support Israel and its ill-treatment of Palestinians is an insidious form of racism. I, like many Jews in and outside Israel, am appalled and disgusted by the illegal occupation by Israel of Palestinian territory and its brutal treatment of Palestinians." Emeritus Rabbi David Goldberg is also quoted by The Independent as saying: "When Israel's Jewish supporters abroad don't speak out against disastrous policies, that neither guarantee safety for her citizens nor produce the right climate in which to try and reach a peace with the Palestinians then they are acting against Israel's own long-term interests." The response to this by Zionist extremists has been that these Jews are self-haters or not really part of the Jewish community at all. But opinion polls show that at present only 38 per cent of U.S. Jews support a proposed U.S. strike on Iran. |

BATTLING FAMILIES AND CREDIT CARD DEBTSAccording to Sunday Herald Sun 8/4/07: "Battling families are using their credit cards to pay their mortgages in last ditch efforts to save their homes. The
Sunday Herald Sun has learned of one Ringwood (Victoria) family that has
accumulated $160,000 in debt on eight credit cards. And charities and financial
counsellors say there are thousands more - many just one interest rate rise from
losing their homes. Finance counsellors report a growing list of borrowers seeking advice on how to save their homes. They urged struggling borrowers to address immediately their financial problems before it was too late. Carolyn Bond, of the Consumer Action Law Centre, said she understood that Supreme Court claims for property repossession climbed to almost 2800 last year. "And that's just the tip of the iceberg," she said, "People who see the writing on the wall sell before it reaches the Supreme Court. An increasing number of people facing foreclosure are coming to our office." Another likely interest rate rise will compound problems for over-stretched borrowers. Finance counsellor Jan Pentland told of a family seeking help recently with credit card debts of about $100,000 on top of a $400,000 mortgage. About $40,000 was owed on one card, with $60,000 outstanding on the other nine cards. Ms Pentland said financial institutions eager to approve new credit cards and increase limits had contributed to the family's crippling debt. |
PATHETIC, POLITICALLY CORRECT TORIESby
Brain Simpson This statement is not a racist statement even by the politically correct race relations account. It is a statement of his own observations, that is all. Clearly David Cameron was looking for a White sacrificial lamb who could be sacrificed for the purposes of ethnic politics. Shame on him. It has been said that British politicians at the time of the introduction of the Race Relations Act were largely opposed to it, but let the Act go through for fear of offending "those whose name we cannot whisper". I find this implausible in the extreme. A more reasonable explanation is that our politicians have always been puppets of the international financiers and when the right strings were pulled, their lips moved mechanically. |
CLIMATE CHANGOLOGISTS 'TILTING AT WINDMILLS'?Ian
Plimer, Professor of Mining Geology at the University of Adelaide has thrown a
small spanner in the works of the 'climate change' propagandists 'Correlations'
don't add up to causes: The next part of Prof Plimer's research was to examine the sources of carbon dioxide. He found that about 0.1 per cent of the atmospheric carbon dioxide was due to human activity and much of the rest due to little-understood geological phenomena. He also argued El Nino and La Nina were caused by major processes of earthquake activity and volcanic activity in the mid-ocean ridges, rather than any increase in greenhouse gases. Nor does the melting
of polar ice have anything to do with man-made carbon dioxide, he said. "Great
icebergs come off, not due to temperature change but due to the physics of ice
and the flow of ice," Prof Plimer said. "There's a lag, so that if temperature
rises, carbon dioxide rises 800 years later. "If ice falls into the ocean in icebergs
that's due to processes thousands of years ago." On the same basis, changes to
sea level and temperature are also unrelated to anything happening today, he said.
Continuing Professor Ian Plimer: We hope to hear more from the good professor about 'climate change' and/or 'global warming'. |
