Science of the Social Credit Measured in Terms of Human Satisfaction

19 June 2009 Thought for the Week:

There has not been a whisper of challenge to the-taken-for-granted assumption that when money-values are devalued, all other values must follow them, nor any realisation that, now that money has become a symbolism based only on faith, the power which enslaves us all is of the spirit and not material.

What seems to be lacking is the spiritual courage to face the jeers and penalties of a Money-and-Media-dominated world. Practical proposals for cancelling the evil of irredeemable debt and enslaving taxation have been before the world for over seventy years, and the thing is not beyond the wit of man, to put right, given the will.

It is not the straits to which the Church may be reduced, along with the rest of us, which disheartens us; united in faith we could endure and achieve anything. It is the ready accommodation to, even the anticipation of the will of Mammon, both on the parochial and on the World scale.

Known as 'Father of Russia 's Wall Street German Sterligov 'has reincarnated the age-old system of barter a move he claims can save the world from economic ruin. It is an online operation called the 'Anti-Crisis Settlement and Accounting Centre '.

When the financial world began to collapse around him he hired computer programmers to create an interactive database that would allow users to exchange goods and debts worldwide. He says his system can replace bank loans which are unreliable.

ANGLICAN CHURCH LOSES IN MARKET SPECULATION

The headlines read: “Anglican Church loses in market speculation,” ABC Radio online 10/6/09:

It will come as no surprise to On Target readers to learn that “Australia's largest and wealthiest Anglican diocese has lost more than $100-million on the stock market and is working out which programs will have to be cut or restructured.
The Sydney diocese (also) borrowed money to invest and in the good times used the profits to build new churches. But it's been pummeled by the global financial crisis…”

MONEY WORRIES? DO WHAT THIS TOWN DOES - PRINTS ITS OWN

Before reading the next article, I ask our readers to ponder on the following - Betty Luks:

In Matt. 23: from verse 16 onwards, Jesus is challenging the Scribes and Pharisees of ancient Judah with these words: “Alas for you, blind guides! You who say, “If a man swears by the Temple, it has no force; but if a man swears by the gold of the temple, he is bound. Fools and blind guides! For which is of greater worth, the gold or the Temple that makes the gold sacred?
Or else, “If a man swears by the altar, it has no force; but is a man swears by the offering that is on the altar, he is bound.”
“You blind men! For which is of greater worth, the offering – or the altar that makes the offering sacred? Therefore, when a man swears by heaven he is swearing by the throne of God and by the One who is seated there…”
“Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you tithe mint and anise and cummin, and have left undone the weightier matters of the Law, justice and mercy; and faith (or faithful dealings).”

Isn’t it the belief which attaches to gold, and not the gold itself, which is the basis of the Scribes’ and Pharisees’ faith, or credit? The modern word ‘credit’ comes from the word creed… ‘I believe’.

Gold itself is not the catalyst that sets the wheels of industry in motion:
In the real world, it is the belief attached to the gold - be it gold coin, or gold bar, or gold jewel-currency, or gold decorations in the Temple, or the gold on the altar – it is the belief that the gold coin can be offered and accepted by all parties concerned in the transactions (the faithful dealings) that sets the wheels of industry in motion, by human beings.

It is upon the belief itself, that claims made upon the pool of production in the market place, by us all, with our gold coin [money] will be accepted, and the transactions take place. The belief itself could just as easily be attached to stones, or shells, or paper money, or the Ponzi bankers’ ‘credit’- or a local currency.

I have read of an islander group who attached their belief to a very large stone. One day it sunk while being transported across the sea to another island. The islanders still believe it is there, though they can no longer see it, resting on the bottom of the sea as it most probably does. It is the belief attached to the stone upon which their system works for them.

What about our real credit – our Social Credit?
Our belief could be attached to the real credit of this nation, the social credit, the belief that by working together, in faithful dealings, we can gain an increment, a benefit, from the associations. By our social credit – our belief, our faith - we can achieve far and above more than what we could individually achieve. When we come together, to work together, in agreement, we draw on the benefits accruing from that association – that is our social credit.

But all human associations need a foundation of honest and faithful dealings for them to work. Therefore, accurate, truthful records should be kept of our production, distribution and consumption.

When the people finally grasp these truths, and insist this nation’s financial system be based on a true recording of our resources and the abundance flowing from the production systems, based on honest and faithful dealings, with a share for all in this great common wealth, then we will know security and peace. Not before.

DO WHAT THIS TOWN DOES:
The old dairy-farming town of Maleny in Queensland's Sunshine Coast hinterland, perched lushly on the Blackall Ranges, now attracts tree changers, hippies, artists and weekend tourists.

In 2004 Maleny locals made headlines for trying to stop the construction of a Woolworths on the banks of the town's Obi Obi Creek, which was a platypus habitat. After long stand-offs, they lost that battle and the supermarket was built.
But this time they have taken on a bigger opponent and have decided to hit back at the global financial crisis. They are going to print their own money. The Baroon Dollar - named after Lake Baroon near Maleny - will be printed and sold at local, independent businesses to encourage locals and visitors to keep buying up locally.

Darren Mitchell is the co-ordinator of the Baroon Dollar project and he told ABC Local Radio that businesses can put their hands up to accept the region's new tender. "We're creating our own stimulus package," he said.
"Rather than just relying on Kevin Rudd's stimulus we've decided to create our own. We've combined a sort of think-local-first program that often chambers of commerce hold around the country. "But we've combined it with a new initiative which is printing a community currency which works as a paper voucher and that binds shoppers to local, independent businesses."

Australian first:
Mr. Mitchell says the Baroon Dollar can be used in towns across the hinterland, including Montville, Mapleton and Kenilworth. He says the initiative is the first regional paper-based community currency in Australia. "It creates a central pool of money that's used also in part for community grant schemes and micro financing," he said. "Shops need to sign up to be part of the project and we're getting good interest at the moment."

But, with many locals still refusing to shop at Woolworths, Mr. Mitchell says the supermarket giant will not be invited to sign up for the Baroon Dollar. "We're not going to actively ask the chain stores," he said. "People don't often realise that when they spend their money in chain stores across the country, up to 80 cents in their dollar leaks straight out into the global financial casino as I like to call it."

But Mr. Mitchell says the project is not just the latest anti-Woolies campaign. "It's a movement that started really in the UK and US for local economies to create resilience and to encourage local production of food in the local area," he said. "It's basically part of a movement that encourages farmers markets and encourages eating locally. "It's a great symbol for the Sunshine Coast hinterland."

FOOTBALL: SYMBOL OF RACIAL-CULTURAL DEGENERATION

by James Reed
Much has been written and spoken about the NRL “group sex” crisis. One of the most objectionable articles, in my opinion, came from Andrew Baker, an evolutionary geneticist (“Genetically, Society is in League with Footy Antics”, The Australian, 20/5/09, p.33) who argued that footballers have been genetically selected to be testosterone-soaked brutes, so what do you expect!

I disagree with this. Footballers were not sexually–exploitative savages in the days of my father and grandfather. Sexual indiscretions did occur infrequently in the old days before the sexual revolution of the 1960’s, but the emphasised word is infrequently. The group-sex horror is very much a product of our degenerate times. This sort of animal behaviour also occurs in the pub scene and music scenes, so football is not to be exclusively blamed.

This incident is a product of the social breakdown of Christian sexual morality that occurred after WWII and especially since the 1960’s. Today we continue to pay the price with sexual diseases, family breakdowns and social problems. The 1960’s social experiment has shown that liberal sex is a social disaster. That is the bigger picture behind the current debate. An appeal to evolutionary genetics doesn’t solve anything.

OBAMA ROCKS ON

by James Reed
What has black US president Barrack Hussein Obama been up to lately? For a start Obama “has turned the White House into a café buzzing with a mix of poetry jam and groovy jazz” (The Australian, 14/5/09, p.101). Jazz and R&B bands, along with ‘poets’ decorated the Obamas’ cultural evening. The media continue to promote the carefully crafted image of their “people friendly president”.

But without the tele-prompter sometimes the real Obama bubbles to the surface. Although Obama claims that he is a “history buff”, he often fluffs up. In May 2008 he said that his uncle, Charlie Payne, “was part of the first American troops to go into Auschwitz”.
The problem here is that it was the Soviets who went into Auschwitz. Obama also believes, as stated by him in 2002, that US troops “liberated” Treblinka, whereas in fact it was “liberated” by the Soviets (The Weekend Australian, 9-10/5/09, p.13). Clearly “the man” is in trouble when he steps away from the tele-prompter.

And by the way, what is happening about the elimination of racism and poverty for black Americans? It is surprising that we have not heard anything from Obama about this since becoming president, and having the capacity to do something, yet his books are full of all the idealistic stuff. Hey black brothers, I think this cool cat has sold out on you in favour of the corporates!

R.I.P. INDUSTRIAL USA: THE BANKSTERS WIN, EVEN WHEN THEY FAIL!

"It was crystal clear that the finance capitalists would eventually destroy the industrial capitalists."
The corporate media’s stories on General Motor’s bankruptcy read like obituaries. But they are covering the wrong funeral. The automaker’s passing as an industrial giant marks the last gasp of industrial capitalism in the United States. And it was not a natural death.

General Motors became the biggest corporation is the world when the United States was by far the biggest industrial power in the world. There has always been conflict between industrial capital, which actually manufacturers things, and finance capital which, left to its own devices, will reduce the manufacturing base to its various parts to be squeezed of value, sold off or shut down. Two generations ago, finance capital got the upper hand in its battle with manufacturing capital, and began to de-industrialize the United States.

It was a long process, but a steady one, part of finance capital’s global "race to the bottom" that would transfer the world’s production to the low-wage South and East of the planet.
The handwriting was on the wall for General Motors and the entire industrial sector of the U.S. economy back in the mid-Eighties, when GMAC, the financial arm of General Motors, surpassed the car-making part of the company in profits. Almost immediately, GMAC went into the mortgage business. From that moment on, it was crystal clear that the finance capitalists would eventually destroy the industrial capitalists.

Then a funny thing happened on the way to finance capital’s total conquest of America. With the keys to state and federal government in their hands, and the Black, soon-to-be president in their pockets, the investment banking class imploded of its own contradictions. Having succeeded in amassing trillions while creating nothing useful, the finance capital parasites proceeded to the next stage of their pathology, creating vast amounts of fictitious capital called derivatives, based on – nothing. The house of cards collapsed.

Barack Obama put the finance capitalist Steve Rattner in charge of finally bankrupting the auto industry: The financial meltdown was near-total, but their political power was undiminished. Just as they had controlled the outgoing Republican White House, they took charge of economic policy under the incoming Democrat. Barack Obama put the finance capitalist Steve Rattner in charge of finally bankrupting the auto industry – which Left-economist Stanley Aronowitz has described as the largest exercise in union busting in U.S. history.
President Obama’s own website brags that his White House was even "more aggressive" than the Bush Administration in wrenching concessions from the United Auto Workers union.

The "New GM," now 60 percent owned by “the people” of the United States, will be allowed to build small cars – in China.

Obama apologists actually believed that the unused auto infrastructure might be massively converted to building public transportation, or other green industries. They failed to understand that Obama is the bankers’ president, and the bankers build nothing useful or productive. That is the crux of the current crisis of capitalism: the refusal of capital to invest in productive enterprise except under conditions of extremely low wage labour. Nothing will replace General Motors until the bankers – and the politicians who serve them – are driven out of power.

Comment: For the American people to understand what has happened to their once great nation – and why - they need to read the works of Clifford Hugh Douglas and Eric D. Butler. Both men saw what was happening - and why - eighty or more years ago.
After WW II Eric Butler predicted the demise of the USA and the rise of China. Their books tell the story - available from all Heritage Books Services and Veritas Publishing.

A ROBUST DEFENCE OF FREE SPEECH

by Ian Wilson LL.B.
When we see in print a robust, comprehensive defence of freedom of speech, we need to cite it and praise it. Michael Sexton, NSW Solicitor General (‘Defend to the Last their Right to Say It’, The Australian, 12/5/09, p.12) defends the Voltaireian position that “opinions, no matter how offensive to some or all members of the community, should be immuned from all civil or criminal proceedings”.

That includes positions such as Holocaust revisionism, which of course he rejects. But referring to Dr Frederick Toben’s case even though his material is “absurd…and offensive”, “that is not a reason to prevent Toben from expressing his utterly misguided view”.

Sexton quotes American jurist Oliver Wendell Holmes, who said: “The best test of truth is the power of a thought to get itself accepted in the competition of the market”. But to have a successful free market of ideas, we need a robust night of free speech, just as Sexton advocates.

GREG SEES THE END OF RACE BUT PENNY JUST RACES ON

by James Reed
According to journalist Greg Sheridan, a long-term champion of the Asianisation of Australia “We’ll all win when race comes last” (The Weekend Australian Review, 23-24/5/09, p.38). Well, according to Sheridan “Nothing seems so central to our cultural consciousness these days as race”.

Once liberals looked forward to the day when ‘race’ would not exist – but with multiculturalism, race is more important than ever. For Sheridan, race should not count for much. So much then for his protests about people who wanted to restrict Asian immigration on race grounds – that ground should not count for much either!

Greg should have consulted with climate change guru Penny Wong, featured in The Weekend Australian’s magazine. This Asian lesbian we are told has been “driven by [combating] racism” (“Racism Driving Force for Wong”, The Weekend Australian, 23- 24/05/09, p.4).

Funny isn’t it how all these successful ethnics always cry about how ‘racist’ Australia is, the nation that accepted them in as migrants and provided the opportunities for their success? Would an Anglo-Saxon ‘Penny Wrong’ be permitted to become a citizen of China, or any other Asian nation, and slam China in print?

My top prediction is that Wong is being groomed by the elites to replace Rudd to be Australia’s first Asian-born lesbian Prime Minister.

TERRORISTS, VEGETABLES, INCREASINGLY HOME-GROWN

by James Reed
Just as an increasing number of people in the current economic climate are learning the joys of having a veggie garden and eating home grown vegies, so it seems are terrorists becoming increasingly home grown. First London and now New York.

The coloured Muslim men planned to blow up a Jewish centre in the Bronx and then fire Stinger surface-to-air missiles at warplanes. The FBI caught them. No doubt there is a movie in the pipelines about this. We can reflect that this is just another of the daily confirmations of the failure of the multiracial, multiethnic, multicultural society concept.

WELL... IF THIS DON 'T BEE ALL

Half-a-million bees in their hives were stolen as they were being prepared for harvest to be used in Royal honey supplied to Prince Charles' popular Duchy Estates range.
In normal criminal circles it wouldn't create much of a buzz, but in the world of beekeeping the theft of eight hives in Scotland represents the latest and most high profile sting on an industry beset by thefts and disease.

Half-a-million honey bees were taken from the royal beekeeper as they waited to be transferred later this summer to Balmoral, where they would have set about creating ‘sweet spread for the Queen's bread’.
Murray McGregor, who produces honey for Prince Charles's Duchy estate, said he believed the £5,000 hives had been stolen last month, most likely for profit and possibly to order.

It follows a series of thefts as the value of hives soars due to a catastrophic collapse in the bee population. But Mr Murray, who has bees at 70 different locations, said it was impossible to guard all his hives. Whoever had taken the Langstroth hives from Learilaw Farm near Broxburn, West Lothian, must have known what they were doing, he said. "It is either another beekeeper or someone stealing to order for a beekeeper with instructions from them on how to do it," he said. "We have only had hives stolen on one other occasion in the last 20 years. The chances of seeing these bees again are extremely slim."

Lothian and Borders Police said their investigation was centred within the beekeeping community. The value of beehives has soared in the past year following an outbreak of colony collapse disorder, the emergence of the dreaded varroa "destructor" mite and lethal viruses which are estimated to have claimed two-thirds of the bees in London alone last winter. The situation has been made worse by back-to-back wet summers which depleted the population as queens struggled to mate.

Before the effects of disease began to be noticed, a second-hand hive capable of producing 50lb of honey a year would sell for £30. Now it can fetch over £200. In one case up to 18 hives went missing in the Telford & Wrekin area of Shropshire. A dozen were stolen from a site near Whitby, much prized because of the North York Moors heather honey produced in the region. There have been several cases in the West Country and in the New Forest and Norfolk.

BRITISH NATIONAL PARTY SECURES TWO EUROPEAN SEATS

BNP leader Nick Griffin has been elected to the European Parliament as the party won its first two seats. Mr Griffin was elected for the North West region while Andrew Brons picked up another BNP seat in Yorkshire and Humber, where it won 10% of the vote.
Mr Griffin said the BNP was not racist, but won votes because it "spoke openly about the problem of immigration."
Labour's Harriet Harman described the result as "terrible" while Tory leader David Cameron said he was "sickened".

Mr Griffin was elected to Brussels even though the BNP polled fewer votes in the region than it had in 2004 - the slump in Labour support meant its share of the vote increased. It meant that although the BNP came fifth in the popular vote in the region, it won a seat through the system of proportional representation used in the European elections.

Racism directed towards the British people:
Mr Griffin denied the party was racist, telling the BBC's Radio 4 Today programme: "There's a huge amount of racism in this country, overwhelmingly it is directed towards the indigenous British majority, which is one reason we've done so well in these elections." He said the "ruling elite" had made the "indigenous majority ... second-class citizens in every possible sphere".

"The Labour Party, the Lib Dems and the Tories, by leaving the door to Britain open, has forced people to turn to a party which speaks openly about the problem of immigration and says that while there might be a few good things about it there's also a lot of bad things." The BNP won more than 120,139 votes in the Yorkshire region, slightly less than in 2004, but enough to take one of the six seats on offer in the region.

Successful candidate Andrew Brons acknowledged that his victory would not be "universally popular". He said the party, which denies stirring racial hatred, had survived an "onslaught" by the media and the political classes during the campaign. "Despite the headlines, money and misrepresentation, we have managed to win through," he said. "The election was the "first step" towards the UK removing itself from the "EU dictatorship", he added.

The BNP targeted the North West during the campaign, having had earlier success in local council elections. It won one of its three English county council seats in Burnley in the elections.

B-B-Q 's RULE

At times there is a great need to be able to laugh at ourselves. I am sure most Aussies will relate to the following - and have a chuckle. We are about to enter the summer and BBQ season.
Therefore it is important to refresh your memory on the etiquette of this sublime outdoor cooking activity, as it's the only type of cooking a 'real' man will do, probably because there is an element of danger involved.

When a man volunteers to do the BBQ the following chain of events are put into motion:

Routine...
(1) The woman buys the food.
(2) The woman makes the salad, prepares the vegetables, and makes dessert.
(3) The woman prepares the meat for cooking, places it on a tray along with the necessary cooking utensils and sauces, and takes it to the man who is lounging beside the grill - beer in hand.

Here comes the important part:
(4) The Man places the meat on the grill:

More routine....
(5) The woman goes inside to organize the plates and cutlery.
(6) The woman comes out to tell the man that the meat is burning. He thanks her and asks if she will bring another beer while he deals with the situation.

Important again:
(7) The Man takes the meat off the grill and hands it to the Woman:

More routine....
(8) The woman prepares the plates, salad, bread, utensils, napkins, sauces, and brings them to the table.
(9) After eating, the woman clears the table and does the dishes.

And most important of all:
(10) Everyone praises and thanks him for his cooking efforts.
(11) The man asks the woman how she enjoyed 'her night off.'

And… upon seeing her annoyed reaction, concludes that there's just no pleasing some women....
