APPEAL TO WORLD LEADERS FROM RABBI OF NETUREI KARTA
According to Wikipedia online:
Neturei Karta (Jewish Babylonian Aramaic: "Guardians of the City"), also self-identifying by the English name Jews United Against Zionism, is a small Haredi Jewish group formally created in 1935, that opposes Zionism and calls for a dismantling of the State of Israel, in the belief that Jews are forbidden to have their own state until the coming of the Messiah.
They are mostly concentrated in Jerusalem, but also in and around Ramat Beit Shemesh Bet near Jerusalem, and Bnei Brak. Most others associated with Neturei Karta can be found in London, New York City, and other parts of New York, with smaller communities in various cities around North America.
Having made contact with the group to verify an earlier press release, we were placed on their mailing list. The following is a portion of the latest press release:
'We urgently appeal to the leaders of the world nations, especially the great powers, to stop supporting the Zionist regime. Many nations believe that supporting Zionism shows friendship to the Jewish People. This is incorrect!
True friendship to the Jewish People can be demonstrated by saving all the peoples of the Middle East, including Jews, from the bloodthirsty machinations of the dangerous State of "Israel" and by dismantling the Zionist regime entirely, peacefully and speedily in our day. May Almighty G-d protect us from the influence of Zionism in general, their evil warmongering bloodthirsty leaders, and from their wicked servants who call themselves Rabbis."
- - Signed: Rabbi Meir Hirsh, net.bezeqint.neto@nkp
The message continues:
'In the past week the late so-called Chief "Rabbi" of the so-called State of "Israel", Mordechai Eliyahu, and other irresponsible "Rabbis" employed by the Zionist State have made vicious and provocative statements asserting that Authentic Jewish Edict allows or permits harming or injuring Palestinian individuals in the Gaza Strip, thereby falsely legitimatizing the Zionist massacres in that area. "Rabbis" of the Zionist State only carry legitimacy in the eyes of Zionists. Their status as "Rabbis" is not much different from the leadership of Theodor Herzl, who also wore a long beard!
We are likewise forbidden to rebel against any nation. We are to remain peaceful and loyal citizens, in every country in which we reside. Therefore to oppress the Palestinian people, harm them, steal their land, expel them, etc. is totally forbidden according to our Holy Torah.
The Chief Rabbinate of the Zionist State, just as all Zionist institutions, has importance only because of its coercive power over the religious, economic and everyday life of the Jewish residents of Zionist occupied Palestine. Whoever recognizes and supports the Zionist State, even innocently, has been taken over by the heretical Zionist movement, no matter how large the halo that it is granted by supposed Jewish authorities ' |
'THE PLEBISCITE FOR AN AUSTRALIAN REPUBLIC BILL 2008
There is but a very short time indeed to make your submission to the Senate Committee on the above Bill. Consider the risk if people vote 'Yes to the plebiscite question, 'do you want Australia to become a Republic?
The following Referendum could not then include a question 'Do you want to keep our Constitutional Monarchy? it would simply deal with what type of Republic was to be implemented. A very sly move on the part of Bob Brown and his cohorts.
The Australian Monarchist League have set out further details in their flyer which we now reproduce:
A plebiscite is, ostensibly, a non-binding simple question put to the electorate. It will pass if it receives a simple majority of 50% plus 1.
A referendum is a more complex vote requiting a majority of votes nation-wide plus a majority of votes in a majority of States, which means that as well as the national majority, it must receive a majority vote in four of the six States to win.
The Republic Referendum held in 1999 lost both nation-wide as well as in all States. No question, on the Constitution, in the form of a plebiscite, has ever before been put to the people. This is because amending the Constitution is a complex matter which cannot be explained in a simple populist question.
Should a plebiscite succeed and a subsequent referendum fail, it could well cast doubt on the future integrity of the constitution.
A successful plebiscite question on the Constitution will provide politicians with a blank cheque to demean, to demoralise and to do whatever they, can to disintegrate the checks and balances of The Crown that block them from assuming absolute power and authority over the people.
A plebiscite is not the way to proceed. The proper process for constitutional change is set out in Section 128 of the Constitution, which is the Referendum process. This requires the electorate to be properly informed of what is proposed. No designer question could possibly do this.
Senator Brown estimates that a plebiscite question held along with the next general election would cost approximately $10.5 million. However, when one includes labour and material costs, it is more likely to be far in excess of this figure.
Australia cannot afford to waste money at this time of financial concern, particularly on a matter which has already been voted upon by the people.
Make every effort to send in a submission before the closing date of 6th February 2009.
For those who want to make a submission, details of the Plebiscite Bill and Enquiry may be accessed via search for "Plebiscite for an Australian Republic Act 2008"
Written submissions addressing any issues in relation to the bill should be lodged with the Committee Secretariat by 6 February 2009.
The Committee prefers to receive submissions electronically as an attached document by email to or by hard copy to:

SAVING WESTERN CIVILISATION: GOD, SCIENCE & SEARCH FOR MEANING
by Chris Knight and Brian Simpson.
In the 21st century we increasingly find ourselves being plunged into a world of agonising scientific and technological change, a world where change is imposed on us without even lip-service being paid to questions of democratic consent.
Science and technology has created a world seemingly 'out of control especially through massive changes to our self-concept and metaphysical image of our place in the universe.
Science, we are told, has allegedly demonstrated that all that exists is purely physical, there being no God, no soul and even no mind according to the materialist philosophers. Man is thus free to 'play God within the elastic constraints of public morals.
Lee M. Silver in his book 'Remaking Eden (1997) says that we are living in a new age where the global marketplace rules supreme. Presumably in this age anything which promises to make a dollar should be done. Thus there is an economic imperative for human genetic engineering to occur, and it will occur, ultimately resulting in the creation of new and separate species of humanity (such as humans capable of photosynthesis) who can populate other planets and spread capitalism across the cosmos. All; of this will allegedly arise from the marriage of biology and machines.
So-called 'scientific philosophy has disposed of the soul and is now set to lose its mind! The standard position in philosophy now is dominated by artificial intelligence and computer systems where human beings are seen as no more than complex information-processing systems. Belief in God becomes merely a chemical reaction taking place in the neurons of the temporal lobes. Leading US atheist philosopher Daniel Dennett gives a good example of this reductionism in his book 'Consciousness Explained (1991) which sees consciousness as merely an evolving computer pro gram where the 'Self is an illusion generated buy the system.
The loss of ultimate philosophical and religious meaning among the intelligentsia is grounded in the scientific revolution of the 16th and 17th centuries, resulting in a disenchantment with the world. Science became the new religion of modernity. Brian Appleyard in his book 'Understanding the Present: Science and the Soul of Modern Man (1992) sees science as being far from metaphysically neutral; rather it is 'spiritually corrosive, burning away ancient authorities and traditions. p.9)
The philosophical underpinnings though of materialistic science is liberalism, a social policy where government 's real concern is maintaining order among the greatest possible number of consumers. A liberal society has no views on the ethical or transcendental nature of life. The smooth running of global capitalism and profit-making requires a neutral framework.
But this scientific liberalism ultimately destroys itself, destroying the very conditions that make life human. Although much ink has been spilt and more could be spilt arguing against the core aspects of scientific materialism, it is clear that this philosophical worldview is ultimately grounded and financed by the ideologues of the present financial order. They are materialists and want a world of robots and machines.
That is why it is important for social crediters to work for financial and economic change. What is now at stake is the survival of humanness for the battle is against those who would make us machines and level the natural order in the process. Rather than refuting their evil philosophies, what is needed is the undermining of their worldview through a change in the economic and financial system of society.
A social credit economy will ultimately result in the withering away of the philosophy of scientific materialism and a renaissance in Christian wisdom.

CHURCH LEADERS SPEAK OUT ON 'FINANCIAL CHAOS '
by Betty Luks
:
Church leaders in the United Kingdom used their Christmas sermons to highlight the personal hardships being experienced by the people due to the financial 'crisis '. Some dealt with what they believed to be the root cause - too many financial investment managers playing the derivatives casinos.
After reading the press reports, I first thought: 'At last Church leaders have seen fit to tackle the issue. But then I managed to slip and hurt myself in a fall and my Christmas goodwill began to rather speedily evaporate leaving me with somewhat cynical thoughts. It is a fact that not only have local councils, charities and ordinary people lost big-time through the collapse of their investments - but so have the churches.
And for just a wee moment, before my conscience 'kicked in ', I thought 'these people are only speaking out about the corrupt system because their own organisations have lost big-time as well.
Be that as it may, I wrote to the Archbishop of York, John Sentamu on the basis of what I had read.
LETTER TO UNITED KINGDOM ARCHBISHOP:
Dr. John Sentamu, Archbishop of York,
Bishopthorpe Palace,
Bishopthorpe, York YO23 2GE, United Kingdom.
Your Grace,
I have read media reports of your statements about the 'credit crisis ', the resulting chaotic state of the financial systems around the world and the effects on all people whether they be rich or poor.
I write to thank you for speaking out and at the same time make a small contribution to the discussion. Included is an essay by Geoffrey Dobbs 'The Just Tax and I ask that you please take the time to read it.
I see that other leaders within the Christian Faith have also spoken out on the matter and although I am greatly encouraged, I must admit the reports leave me a little anxious. I realize the media may not have reported the statements as you and the other leaders expressed them, but I would like to contribute to the discussion on the basis of how I have interpreted the reports of what you said (in quotes).
Wealth and Economic Power: 'The blind pursuit of profit has to end '
Perhaps we can best define 'profit as the result which accrues to individuals when they make the proper associations. One grain of wheat produces a hundred grains. Is that not 'profit '? When I sow seeds in fertile soil, and there is sufficient sun and water, the unseen forces of nature operate, and God 's providence returns me so much 'profit that I share it with my neighbours rather than let it go to waste.
In this money economy, when the worker goes to his daily job, he most certainly expects some 'profit in the form of a money-wage for his efforts.
But please, do not confuse the providence of God with certain men 's financial pursuits.
Do not confuse 'profit with 'exploitation '. Exploitation can take place when there is a Monopoly such as is in the world of finance at the present time.
People are finally realizing it is a private banking system that determines the monetary policies of a nation, with governments simply acting as an arm of that Financial Monopoly.
Debt: 'It began with too much debt. Bad debt in the form of junk mortgages sold to people without a hope of paying them back '
The American nation has been the most productive nation in recorded history. In fact, the production system does not need all the available human labour to produce its vast amount of production. In many areas of production, automated machines and computer systems have replaced human labour.
The poor cannot help that their governments would rather pursue policies that serve mammon (Money Monopoly, war, poverty, oppression, etc), rather than ensure that this huge productive power is geared, through the money system, to provide for the needs of all the people, whether they have paid employment or not.
Sir, there are not enough seats provided for the poor at God 's abundant table and too many leaders would rather the poor scrambled for the crumbs off the welfare table than have them seated at the 'right(eous) table and being served.
In Jesus parable of the Workers in the Vineyard, all received the same amount of money for their needs although their contribution to the work of the vineyard was not equal.
And there seems to be no question that when the people genuinely seek the Kingdom of God there is an abundance, 'pressed down with the cup overflowing '!
Time after time, our Lord demonstrated what was the policy for money in the Kingdom of God. Money was a means to a 'good (godly) end.
Even in the times of ancient Israel with its simple agricultural system, there were numerous institutionalised Sabbaths! In other words, the people in a mainly agricultural community could produce enough to allow them to take off many of the Sab 's (priest 's) holy-days.
Have you ever counted the number of 'holy days the Church in England decreed in the Middle Ages? I have read that men worked for around sixteen weeks of the year to provide for their needs and those of their families.
What has the Church to say on the question of leisure? Surely a time is needed for the replenishing of the soul?
And as for debt there is no 'debt in nature. A farmer cannot use next year 's water for this year 's crop. But there is financial debt. That is another matter altogether.
Can you not see that in this age of abundance, produced by the industrial, technological and automative power available, God 's table is full to overflowing, without the need for all to labour?
But the policy of mammon prevails - 'he who does not work will not eat except through a miserable welfare system administered by busybody bureaucrats.
God 's provision was already there for the poor in America, already produced, in the form of houses in this case, just waiting to be distributed through 'money '.
We were warned that we cannot serve God and mammon. Money cannot serve two functions. It cannot serve that which God intended and that which mammon (the Bankers, the Money Lenders), intends.
Banks and businesses: 'Greed, risk-taking the speculation of the money markets has pulled down banks and businesses overnight ' '
There is a plethora of what the Americans term 'Ponzi Schemes coming unstuck, resulting in people losing their life savings, superannuation funds, etc., but what about the 300 year old Ponzi Scheme that the British government is desperately trying to prop up with taxpayers money (again)? I am of course referring to the setting up of the original Bank of England in 1694.
David Astle in 'The Tallies, A Tangled Tale and The Beginning and the Ending wrote of those corrupt times:
'With the nobility of England already embroiled with their goldsmith 's wonderful schemes, and a large, and fast growing commercial class already beholden to the same goldsmiths or 'The Bankers (read money changers) as they were now becoming known what had they to fear?
The 'bankers they raised up, mainly from the puritan sects, could be relied upon to protect their interests to the last!
By the trick of the loan to the British Government of its own (peoples ') credit as against its so-called 'Bond ', soon after the foundation of the Bank of England, they were achieving a position of control that only a hundred years before they could scarcely have dreamed of
The subtle men of Amsterdam could clearly see that soon they would stand above Kingship. It would not be long before many more Governments would be in their hands
The essence of the activities of this incredible organization was summarized by William Patterson, one of the principal Front Men connected with its foundation:
'The Bank has benefit to the interest on all monies which it creates out of nothing '
Free Enterprise: 'A moral framework for free enterprise must be created in which God is not an add-on but its foundation The purpose of our wealth and its creation must be used in the service of a greater vision '
England has not had a system of genuine 'free enterprise for the last 300 or so years. I understand free to mean: 'not in bondage to another ', and enterprise to mean: 'a bold undertaking '.
England has been in bondage to a private banking system since 1694. It was in that year, with the foundation of the Bank of England and the control of the nation 's money system passing from the rightful King (who lost his head in the bargain) to a group of Money Lenders, the national debt was born (never mind private debt!) and has grown incrementally ever since.
From Charity to Welfare to Marxian Socialism: 'Delivering the Social Services lecture in 1943, Archbishop William Temple outlined the basis upon which our economy must function '
No matter what the good Archbishop Temple had to say on the matter, history reveals that many leaders within the Christian Church (as also within political parties) thought that Karl Marx had better ideas than Jesus Christ - and so England became a Welfare State.
Sadly, a nation with nearly two thousand years of Christian revelation to draw upon, could not rise to a Christ-inspired vision of how to distribute this machine-age abundance to all. Instead many backed the policy, (the intent, the purpose) of Marx.
It seems to me, too many within the Church of England discarded Article of Religion No.28, from the Book of Common Prayer, in favour of Marxist policies. The Article states:
'The riches and goods of Christians are not common, as touching the right, title and possession of same, as certain Anabaptists do falsely boast. Not withstanding, every man ought, of such things as he possesseth, liberally to give alms to the poor, according to his ability.
(As you will know, the Anabaptists taught a form of communism). Geoffrey Dobbs essay 'The Just Tax deals in greater detail with this matter.
This generation didn 't start from scratch, not even the richest man started from scratch. We all drew on the know-how and accomplishments of past generations. This inheritance belongs to all within the nation, not just those who have jobs, nor those who have ready access to the financial system nor those who now control the financial system! How the fruit of the Plant of Civilisation is distributed is a crucial matter and in my reading Jesus Christ had much to say on the matter.
Last but not least, I wish to encourage you in your endeavours to bring about rightful change in England and hopefully your efforts will have a flow-on effect and lead to change in my own nation as well.
As I type this letter, I have opened before me Sir Arthur Bryant 's book 'Set in a Silver Sea wherein he writes of the cathedrals of England and the vision that inspired the designers and builders, etc.
It is an inspiring vision of a Tree of Life the linking of Heaven and Earth, God and His Creation and Man in unity.
Sir Arthur describes how the architects, builders and craftsmen sought to blend in the dynamics and poetry of the buildings the works of God and man.
In the photographs one sees the great pillars rising from out of the earth like the trunks of great trees, upholding the massive structures, the 'branches of the trees spreading as vaulted arches, leaving one with the feeling of the whole reaching up to praise and glorify God the Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
I believe the 'Plant of Civilisation (or the Tree of Life) is for all the community, the rich and the poor, but the system must be just and fair to all. That it might be so, is my prayer.
- - Yours sincerely, Betty Luks Australia.
GEOFFREY DOBBS 'THE JUST TAX ':
In a 1994 postscript Geoffrey Dobbs explained how he, a forest botanist, was invited in 1952 to write for a leading theological journal 'Theology ', usually written and read by professional clergy.
It seems the theological world was ransacked for someone who had any ideas on the subject but no one could be found.
Then, as now, while there was any amount of passionate discussion in the churches about the distribution of the taxation levied, the moral nature of taxation itself, or of the money of which it consists, was scarcely even then considered in the light of Christian theology.
With the recent 'financial crisis it could be the Church leaders are also having 'a reality check '.
