18 June 2010 Thought for the Week: BP Well Bore And Casing Integrity May Be Blown, Says Florida’s Sen. Nelson: Oil and gas may be leaking from the seabed surrounding the BP Macondo well in the Gulf of Mexico, Senator Bill Nelson of Florida told Andrea Mitchell today on MSNBC. Nelson, one of the most informed and diligent Congressmen on the BP gulf oil spill issue, has received reports of leaks in the well, located in the Mississippi Canyon sector. This is potentially huge and devastating news. If Nelson is correct in that assertion, and he is smart enough to not make such assertions lightly, so I think they must be taken at face value, it means the well casing and well bore are compromised and the gig is up on containment pending a completely effective attempt to seal the well from the bottom via successful “relief wells”. In fact, I have confirmed with Senator Nelson’s office that they are fully aware of the breaking news and significance of what the Senator said to Andrea Mitchell. Furthermore, contrary to the happy talk propounded by BP, the Obama Administration and the press, the likely success of the “relief well” effort on the first try in August is nowhere near a certainty; and certainly nowhere near the certainty as it is being painted. - - Report on Andrea Mitchell speaking with Senator Nelson on MSNBC (USA) Monday 7 June, 2010. |
DOES EVIDENCE POINT TO BP OIL SPILL BEING A ‘FALSE FLAG OP’... ?… Or does it point to a 'false flag op' that has gone terribly wrong? We are well aware that the internet ‘news’ runs amok at times with some of the most outrageous claims of the latest government ‘black op’ or conspiracy, but anyone who has read such classic works as Douglas Reed’s “The Controversy of Zion” or Professor Carroll Quigley’s “Tragedy and Hope” has grasped the fact there is an agenda to set up a world government. There are world-wide forces – not quite as secret as once was - that have been steadily working ‘to round up the sheople of the world’ into this new-world-order camp, therefore, we thought we should publish the following news item from Infowars.com: Kevin Rudd and the Constitution: As you read keep in the back of your mind the push by Kevin Rudd for this ‘super-profits’ tax of mining companies. Kevin Rudd’s government does not have the constitutional power to do this. Mining resources still belong to the States – and yet, other than Professor David Flint of the ACM, I have not read of any Liberal/National politician warning the Australian people of what could be afoot. Does evidence point to a BP oil spill 'false flag op'? Paul Joseph Watson & Alex Jones, 8th June, 2010 Prisonplanet.com: Troubling evidence surrounding the Deepwater Horizon explosion on April 20th suggests that the incident could have been manufactured. On April 12th, just over one week before the Deepwater Horizon rig exploded, Halliburton, the world's second largest oilfield services corporation, surprised some by acquiring Boots & Coots, a relatively small but vastly experienced oil well control companies. The company deals with fires and blowouts on oil rigs and oil wells. It was responsible for putting out roughly one third of the more than 700 oil well fires set in Kuwait by retreating Iraqi soldiers during the Gulf War. The deal itself is still under scrutiny with Boots and Coots facing an ongoing investigation into "possible breaches of fiduciary duty and other violations of state law". Where this information gets really interesting is with the fact that Halliburton is named in the majority of some two dozen lawsuits filed since the explosion by Gulf Coast people and businesses who claim that the company is to blame for the disaster. Halliburton was forced to admit in testimony at a congressional hearing last month that it carried out a cementing operation 20 hours before the Gulf of Mexico rig went up in flames. The lawsuits claim that four Halliburton workers stationed on the rig improperly capped the well. As the New York Times noted on May 26th, "BP officials chose, partly for financial reasons, to use a type of casing for the well that the company knew was the riskier of two options”. Workers from the rig and company officials have said that hours before the explosion, gases were leaking through the cement, which had been set in place by the oil services contractor, Halliburton. Investigators have said these leaks were the likely cause of the explosion." According to a 2007 study by Minerals Management Service, cementing was a factor in 18 of 39 rig blowouts in the gulf between 1992 and 2006. Another intriguing connection Boots and Coots has to the Deepwater Horizon explosion comes via Pat Campbell, the man BP has employed to cap the well beneath the ruined rig. Campbell worked for Boots and Coots as general manager for many years. Dumping of shares and stocks weeks before explosion: BP has admitted to buying Yahoo and Google keywords in an attempt to control publicly available information in the wake of the catastrophe. It seems that the company is taking all the flack for the spill while the Halliburton link is being roundly ignored. Goldman Sachs dumped 44% of its shares in BP Oil during the first quarter - shares that subsequently lost 36 percent of their value, equating to $96 million. In the days before the Deepwater explosion, Obama had announced a new effort to explore for and lease new drilling locations in the deep Gulf and in Alaska. In the wake of the disaster, these plans have been cancelled and BP is taking a PR bashing. All of which has been capitalised on by the Obama administration to reinvigorate talk of a carbon tax and has created the opportunity to reintroduce the idea of nationalising oil, which the Democratic leadership has long sought. The full story of what is happening in the Gulf of Mexico is yet to emerge, there are rumours of more spills and an ongoing cover-up. The site represents a $2.2 trillion source of wealth and power, a motive along with a plethora of suspicious activity that needs to be investigated further. |
ONE FEDERAL COMMONWEALTH- from David Flint’s Opinion Column The Founding Fathers, erudite men that they were, were well aware of the fundamental point made by the American Founders, that: "In a federation, the individual States should possess an independent and uncontrollable authority to raise their own revenues for the supply of their own wants." (The Federalist Papers) In the video on the ACM site Professor David Flint explains how this principle was intended to apply to Australia when the Constitution was written. But over the years, with High Court interpretations and political machinations we have reached the stage where the original intention of the Founding Fathers has been thwarted. Just as healthy adults who are welfare dependent tend to lead dysfunctional lives, this imbalance has tended to reduce the quality of State governments, making them dysfunctional and reducing them to mere service providers and not true governments. The proposed super profits tax will only exacerbate this situation and make the States even more dysfunctional. The proposal in the Henry Review was that the Commonwealth take over State royalties. Fearful of the fight a direct seizure would provoke, the government will probably cap them and slowly expropriate them. The decision how the people are to benefit from mining is a matter for the States, not Canberra. That is after all what the Constitution, approved by the Australian people, intends. Important DVDs: “Spirit of Australia’s Constitution and History” by constitutional authority Dr. David Mitchell. MEDIA RELEASE FROM Australian Monarchist League's Mr. Philip Benwell: The comment that the NSW Governor had consulted legal advice on her constitutional position, with regard to widespread public calls for the NSW Government to be dismissed, is a clear indication that Her Excellency does listen to the people. That that advice was that she had no powers to dismiss a government on the grounds of incompetence and unpopularity was always to be expected. That is the people's prerogative and to dismiss a government without constitutional reason, is to actually go against the will of the people as expressed at election. When our conventions were adopted, politicians were persons of honour and there were many of earlier times who resigned because of incompetence or lying to the parliament or the people. As we now know, today's politicians openly say that they don't always tell the truth. People today are looking for more controls on politicians, yet republicans
want us to do away with the control's we already have without telling how
they are to be adequately replaced! Let republicans come out and tell us
with what they propose to replace our well tried and trusty system of
checks and balances under the Crown before agitating to tear down what we
have. - - Philip Benwell, National Chairman Australian Monarchist League 11/6/2010 |
WILLS: WHY YOUR PROPERTY IS NOT YOUR PROPERTYby Ian Wilson LL.B. There are arguments that this in certain circumstances is a good thing, where ageing testators may seek vengeance against naughty children, or children who have done the right thing but have angered their parents in some way. For every legal reform there are often as many negatives as positives. Therefore think ahead! Get legal advice about trusts and other legal structures that are not so easily overturned. A dollar spent on legal advice is better than $10,000 spent on litigation (from your estate of course). Ok, this series is “Against the Lawyers”, but sometimes you have to fight fire with fire, and not merely go to water. |
HERE COMES ECONOMIC DOOMSDAY… AGAINby James Reed It is not just Europe facing economic grey clouds. An article by Bob Chapman (et al.) at Rense.com, “Predictions by Economic Analysts for the Rest of 2010” is very gloomy. Chapman sees martial law in the US in 2011 after a Wall Street crash in late 2010. Gerald Celente sees a new depression, worse than the Great Depression acoming. Igor Panarin, much the same with the US breaking up into six parts. Investor Harry Dent, a crash by late 2010. And so it goes on. Such predictions have been made before but the corpse of capitalism has been revived, much like evil spirits in TV shows such as Supernatural revive dead human bodies or like zombies arise from the dead as the living dead. Likewise, zombie capitalism survives by eating the flesh of living things – but for how long? |
THE WORLD OF THE RICHby Peter West This concerns one of Pratt’s mistresses, a Sydney model and Penthouse Pet, who is after a slice of Pratt’s empire. No matter, but in the body of this story a “source” tells the paper “Richard Pratt was a despicable old man who used philanthropy to build a good reputation in society and the business world. In reality, it was just a cover as he was a philanderer.” I wonder how many on the 200 list also fit that description? |
SEX IN THE DESERT: A PLAGUE ON BOTH HOUSESby James Reed According to a review in the Hollywood Reporter “SATC2 is at once proudly feminist and blatantly anti-Muslim, which means that it might confound liberal viewers.” What should interest us is whether SATC2 confounds Muslims – who may decide to take action against the sexual libertines of SATC. That would result in an interesting battle: Western feminism vs Islam. |
PRACTISING WHAT HE PREACHES?by James Reed Yes, all that from a man who owns seven houses, including a nice pink castle in Country Cork, Ireland (a truly beautiful place on Earth I note). Jeremy, when you sell up your houses and give the money to starving blacks, I will follow you. |

THE BEATLES: THE GARBAGE REMAINS THE SAMEby James Reed I think it was Jewish musician Robert Zimmerman (“Bob Dylan”) who compared the Beatles’ music to Tin Pan Alley, basically pop culture for its time. The same applies to his own music – both of these musical entities are intimately tied to the madness of the 1960’s. |
B. HUSSEIN OBAMA’S LOVE OF ISLAMby James Reed In front of Daniel Pearls bereaved family Obama said this: “Obviously the loss of Daniel Pearl was one of those moments that captured the world’s imagination because it reminded us of how valuable a free press is.” |
OUR BREATH-TAKING JIHADIST ROUNDUP OF ABSURD NEWS ITEMSRadical Iranian cleric, Ayatollah Mohammad Bagher Kharrazi has a dream for “the global village of the oppressed”, a greater Iran comprising the Middle East and Central Asia, basically an Islamic United States. This would involve the destruction of Israel. This would also be a “prelude to the single global rule of the Mahdi”, this being the “hidden Imam” who will appear just before Judgement Day. A United States of Islam? This will require more than just the removal of Israel. According to Nina Shea, writing in The Washington Post, May 14, 2010: “Relentless waves of bombings, assassinations, kidnappings, extortions and rapes have triggered a mass exodus of Christians from Iraq over the past seven years. Since 2003, over half of the estimated 1.5 million Iraqi Chaldean Catholics, Assyrian, Syriac Orthodox and Armenian Christians, as well as some Protestants have fled to Syria, Jordan and farther flung places. While only 3 or 4 percent of Iraq’s pre-2003 population, they account for 40 percent of its refugees”. So creation of the United States of Islam will be a bloody process indeed, given present practices. |

SURELY ONE WIFE IS MORE THAN ENOUGH FOR ONE MAN?by James Reed Continuing with his devastating reductio ad absurdum of French manhood: “If you lose your French nationality for having mistresses, then a lot of French men would have been stripped of their citizenship.” Not a bad argument indeed – take that multicultural France! Perhaps as one story goes “Polygamists here (in France) are breeding for cash,” but that is just one of the effects of creating by immigration, a multicultural society. Kiss the social welfare system goodbye. |
THE SALT CONSPIRACYby Peter West Our food is laced with salt. Even “healthy” bread, full of whole grains etc. has added salt, with some brands having around 450mgs of salt for two slices and higher. Over a day it is difficult to keep salt intake to 1.5gms – the average US consumption is 10gms. |
THE HUMBLE POTATOby Grace Lowe This little discovery coincided with an email I received containing a link to the ‘EWG’s Shopper’s Guide to Pesticides’ for 2010 which claims that avoiding “The Dirty Dozen” 12 most contaminated foods, of which 7 are fruits: peaches, strawberries, apples, domestic blueberries, nectarines, cherries and imported grapes and celery, then: sweet bell peppers (red capsicum), spinach, kale, collard greens and potatoes (which are the vegetables most likely to retain pesticide contamination) you can decrease your pesticide intake by somewhere in the vicinity of 80% . Marvellous! However, before diving gung-ho into the vegetable crisper to remove any of the ‘dirty dozen’, then despairing at the lack of anything left to eat, I took a minute to google ‘farmers’ markets’ in my local city for an affordable alternative to ‘boutique’ organic veggies and supermarket chain produce. If you’re like me and don’t fancy planting up an orchard or have the time to till a bed full of leafy greens, you need not avoid these foods altogether (in fact – please do not!) there is a much more pleasant alternative – farmers’ markets. These local gems stock a wide variety of locally grown fruit and vegetables with exquisite flavour often grown chemical free with little to no intervention. A Saturday morning sojourn to your local market can make a lovely day out with the family, time to sample an assortment of home baked treats and reconnect over good food and fresh air – not a Playstation in sight! Aside from the healthful benefits of naturally grown food, farmer’s markets foster a sense of community and provide an enjoyable alternative to the depressing sterility of the big chains. |
