12 September 2014 Thought
for the Week: The following are a few of the most significant things he said from my point of view:
Men make no mistake when they say that this is an ideological war. It is the war of the Old Testament against the New Testament, of Anti‐Christ against Christ. This is not apocalyptic raving – it is not even, in the ordinary sense, religion. It will not be featured prominently in the calls to prayer of the "B".B.C. It is merely a statement of the trinity of philosophy, policy, and mechanism, brought into the present tense – that two philosophies and two policies, those of world dominion and the materialistic Messiah, on the one hand, and individual freedom on the other, are now at death grips. That our present plight is due to organisation per se, is not, I think, open to discussion... Organisation is, in fact, magic. It is the evocation of an elemental force, and it is much easier to evoke elemental forces than it is to control them or lay them. I have very little doubt that the necessity of a "circle" for the production of spiritistic phenomena is simply an example. Organization is built when there is a mission and the mission is the result of a policy and the policy is based on a philosophy (which may be masked by a pseudo‐philosophy that accomplishes the same purpose when the real philosophy would be repugnant if it were openly expressed.) The people within an organization are locked into position by the systems – processes and procedures ‐ that have been defined for them. They have no choice other than to follow the edicts of the systems or leave the organization. That is the power of organization ‐ a choice between one’s self‐interest and the demands of the organizational systems over which one has no control. The lack of control provides the shield from conscience for the actions. The result is that the organization as a whole becomes in effect, a mindless machine performing the tasks required of them by the systems. When the organization is taken in a wrong direction, it becomes a danger to all and that is the situation in which we find ourselves…”

DOREEN AND KAREN: A TALE OF TWO MOTHERSby Francis Carr Begbie
This beautifully-written piece from The Occidental Observer was actually posted a year ago but circumstances have made it very relevant today. Some of you out there may not know about this, but the Brits certainly will. In a small town in the north of England it's come to light that, over a period of about fifteen years, around 1400 children (in this case between 11 and 16 and mainly girls) have been systematically sexually abused. In many cases the abuse took the form of 'grooming' often involving drugs and alcohol and in some cases was accompanied by physical coercion and torture. These goings-on were well known to local government officials and to police but nothing was done. In nearly all the instances, the victims were white and the abusers were Pakistani muslims. This morning in the UK, the media is full of this story with the question being asked why nothing was done and the suggested answer being that, because of the ethnicities of the abusers and the abused, it was feared that to deal with the issues might offend racial and ethnic sensibilities. When the piece was first posted, I commented that it would be read as highly controversial in the UK (though possibly less so in the US). But whatever your feelings about the issues, the opinions in this excellent essay deserve to be heard - and never more so than today. Doreen and Karen – a tale of two mothers by Francis Carr Begbie
While no-one can put a name to any of the dozens of teenage Blacks murdered every year in London since then, Doreen’s son Stephen Lawrence was different — he was killed by Whites and his death was an opportunity to create the most potent weapon that has ever been aimed at the British people: mass demonization. In an earlier age, tactical area bombing was used to deliver a relentless, sustained and never-ending barrage to cow a civilian population. But instead of the RAF this time the propaganda barrage was delivered by the media and Doreen Lawrence played a vital role as a living symbol of the evils of White racism. So in a sense, her ennoblement is for services to the political elite, the human-rights industrial complex, the bureaucratic class, the media and for everyone else who has benefited from the murder which took place twenty years ago this year. Several hundred miles to the north in the Lancashire seaside resort of Blackpool another mother Mrs Karen Downes could be forgiven for allowing herself a smile of bitter resignation at this latest accolade. It is unlikely that Doreen Lawrence and Karen Downes will ever meet but the two mothers have much in common. Both had children murdered by racists and both have had to fight long battles against police incompetence and official indifference. But there the similarity ends. For while Jamaica-born Mrs Lawrence has become a national heroine, lionised by the establishment, feted by the media and showered with honours, Mrs Downes is a shunned and marginalised figure who does not know if the killers of her daughter will ever be brought to justice. The discrepancy in the treatment of the two cases can only be understood through the prism of the victimhood hierarchy. While Mrs Lawrence is the mother of a Black teenager, Mrs Downes and her daughter both belong to the despised White working class. It is hard to overestimate the importance of the events that followed the knifing to death of Stephen Lawrence in a random attack at a bus stop in Eltham south east London in 1993 and it could well be argued that the crime was the single most transformative event in the creation of the new settlement imposed on the country. A botched police investigation and collapsed trial triggered a full scale judicial inquiry in 1999 led by Lord McPherson and this had two effects. The first was the branding of the Metropolitan Police in perpetuity as guilty of vague and ill-defined “institutional racism”. The second was the demonization of the White working class as irredeemably racist and hate-filled bigots who had no more call on the sympathies of right-thinking citizens than did the German people in the aftermath of World War II. The elevation of this blood libel to a central place in the new settlement had one overriding political purpose — it meant the objections of working class Whites to mass immigration or multiculturalism could be safely cast aside as of no account. The case was swiftly picked up by the media, politicians and human rights lawyers and barristers who smelled a winning cause célèbre and began jostling furiously for the anticipated glory. In their pursuit of the five suspects in the killing of Stephen Lawrence normal conventions such as the assumption of innocence and contempt of court were ignored — and it was apparent that their White working class aspect produced an additional frisson of loathing. As the media bombardment followed — the acres of newsprint, TV documentaries the TV dramas, the feature film — one message was unmistakeable; all working class Whites had to share the blame for what happened to Stephen Lawrence. Finally in 2011, after an estimated 16 separate inquiries and a failed trial, the House of Commons decided to overturn the centuries-old law of double-jeopardy solely for the purpose of prosecuting the Stephen Lawrence killers. Convictions were duly obtained on two of the five suspects in what was condemned as a showtrial. But there was far too much political capital to be had from the saga to leave it at that and, like a medieval religious play, there are now frequent re-enactments of the martyrdom of Stephen Lawrence in which self-aggrandising politicians, loudmouthed race-hustlers, sanctimonious journalists and grandstanding human-rights lawyers — and Doreen Lawrence — all play their appointed parts. This summer’s passion play has not disappointed. The Prime Minister, the Deputy Prime Minister, the Home Secretary, the Shadow Home Secretary, the Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police and the chairman of the Commons Home Affairs Committee were all arguing furiously about how best to satisfy Mrs Lawrence’s demands for yet another public inquiry. They duly obliged and in July two new reviews were launched into the conduct of the police in 1993. It is enlightening to compare all this activity with the experience of Mrs Karen Downes whose 14-year old daughter Charlene went missing on 1st November 2003 while apparently making her way home from Blackpool’s north pier after school. She had been in the habit of hanging out at the Funny Boyz kebab shop in Dickson Road ran by Iyad Albattikhi and Mohammed Reveshi who were known to target young White girls by plying them with cigarettes and alcohol. But initially the police were reluctant to take action or even provide the family with basic information. It was only when Karen approached the local newspaper that things began to move. The main suspects were reported boasting to friends that the body had been put into kebabs, and a proper investigation was launched. Eventually surveillance recordings produced apparently damning statements and the men were duly arrested and tried. In one conversation Mr Reveshi was reported to have said to Mr Albattikhi: “Well, hopefully I [done] it properly you know . . . he thought he saw me cutting her body up… “Do you remember she was bleeding to death?” “Yes,” replied Mr Albattikhi. “So that she made a mess,” Mr Reveshi allegedly added. Later in the transcript Mr Reveshi allegedly says: “The last one then, it was the last deep one and then it was the [heart] . . . that finally killed her.” … At one point Mr Reveshi said: “I’m so worried and you was the one who killed her.” … But the case sensationally collapsed in court because the prosecution had botched the presentation of the evidence. The jury were unable to reach a unanimous decision, and instead of requesting a re-count with a majority decision, the judge dismissed the case. The two Muslims received half a million pounds in compensation for their ordeal but despite this the police have admitted there are no other suspects in the frame. Since then there has been no movement in the Charlene Downes case despite reports of compelling fresh evidence, new witnesses, allegations of jury-tampering and the fact that the double-jeopardy law is no longer an obstacle to another prosecution of the same men. Meanwhile, down south Mrs Doreen Lawrence is still receiving more accolades and awards to add to the OBE she received in 2003 for her services to community relations. The gleaming £10 million Stephen Lawrence Centre was opened five years ago and is the base for the Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust, set up by Doreen in 1998. This body, of which Doreen is a director, has become one of London’s largest training providers, not least because of the millions poured in by local and national government and corporate sponsors. For Baroness Lawrence — as we must learn to call her — the awards, the accolades, the public appearances and the praise just never seem to stop rolling. Last summer, in front of an international television audience of millions, she was an Olympic flagbearer, alongside Muhammad Ali and former UN secretary general Ban-Ki Moon. And then she received the lifetime achievement award in the UK media’s nationally televised “Pride of Britain Awards” to a standing ovation in November 2012. Her portrait “No Woman No Cry” rendered by one of our most fashionable modern artists, hangs in the Tate Gallery. The Stephen Lawrence Trust has become one of the biggest brands in the charity sector. There is the Memorial Service — attended by the Prime Minister — the Woman of the Year Award, the star-studded concert at London’s largest venue, the O2 Arena — all in the name of Stephen Lawrence. Not to mention the Memorial Lecture which has been given by Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales. For any ambitious young politico on the make a photo-opportunity with Doreen is not to be passed by. There is every possibility thanks to the Stephen Lawrence Legacy black tie gala dinners which have become prime networking events for the great and good. The Dorchester Hotel in Park Lane will be the venue for the next one. Recent dinners have featured the Home Secretary, the Leader of the Opposition, the editor of the Daily Mail and the editor of the Mirror not to mention the Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police again. As if all this did not keep Doreen busy enough, she has been awarded honorary degrees by the Universities of East Anglia, Bradford, Staffordshire, Greenwich, York, East London and Bishop Grosseteste University College, Lincoln. She also received an Honorary Fellowship from Goldsmith’s College. She has a seat on important government panels and charity boards. Her autobiography is called, without irony, And Still I Rise. Despite being nominally above the political fray, Mrs Lawrence has waded in when it suits her, and her statements that the police are still institutionally racist are guaranteed to dominate the headlines. In fact her supposed special insights into every subject from schooling to knife crime are given special weight by an ever doting media. It is educational to compare this with the disappearance of Charlene Downes. It could hardly have happened at a more sensitive time. Despite undeniable evidence of organised grooming of White underage girls by Muslims in towns across the north of England the authorities refused to act or even speak out on the matter. Instead the mainstream parties together with the police, the BBC, local papers and social services, closed ranks and refused to discuss the matter. The only politician speaking out was the British National Party’s Nick Griffin, and it was on the back of this issue that the BNP won four local elections in Bradford. Then only months after Charlene disappeared, the BBC broadcast secretly recorded public speeches by the BNP leader and his colleague Mark Collett in which they vociferously spoke out against Muslim grooming gangs and the authorities refusal to act on the matter. The BBC handed footage to the police and the two were duly charged with “using words or behaviour intended or likely to stir up racial hatred,” only to be sensationally acquitted after a retrial at Leeds Crown Court in 2006. As for Karen Downes and her family, it would be fair to say that the intervening years have not treated them kindly. Karen has been on the receiving end of a campaign of vile abuse mounted by local left-wingers who crowed their delight at the collapse of the trial of the men accused of killing her daughter. A commemorative bench inscribed to Charlene and placed in her favourite park was thrown into a pond, and the police do not even return her phone calls any more. She has taken to mounting ad hoc protests outside the kebab bar in Dickson Street but the police have issued her with a harassment order banning her from approaching the takeaway and warning her if she does not stop she could be jailed for racial harassment. Most weekends Karen Downes can be found forlornly searching among the arcades of the north pier in a vain attempt to catch sight of the daughter she last saw ten years ago this November. |

RACE AND FRIENDSHIPby Brian Simpson
In other words in the highly racially divided world of America, people choose their own race for friendship. A recent technical paper shows that there is a sound biological and genetic reason for human ties to individuals who are not kin or mates with similar people regarding genotypes: N.A. Christakis and J.H. Fowler, “Friendship and Natural Selection”, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences 22 July, 2014. What this shows, I believe, is immigration increases the racial polarisation up to the point of civil war, or to that point where the societies “fall apart” and separate into ethno-states and ethno-racial enclaves. As the race/immigration issue has been left unsolved for so long, perhaps this disintegration of nations is now inevitable, especially when the glue of consumerism, the band holding it all together now, finally gives out. |

BEHEADING MULTICULTURALISMby Richard Miller
The brutal slaying of James Foley should not have come as a surprise. Only last year two Islamists murdered British soldier Lee Rigby on a British street by first knocking him down with a car and then butchering him with a meat cleaver and knives. They claimed that they were “soldiers of Allah” and were motivated by treatment of Muslims worldwide. So what is going on here? Douglas Murray (“Just a Bit More beheading Than We Are Used To”, 24 August 2014 at http://gatestoneinstitute.org/4645/foley-beheading commenting on the likelihood that James Foley was murdered by a home-grown terrorist says: “As I recall saying after the last decapitation performed by a British man, the unspoken British deal on multiculturalism appears to come to light at such moments. The deal – the acceptance and accommodation – appears to be that mass uncontrolled immigration has brought us all sorts of benefits, including a greater variety of food and cheap labour. The downside is that we have to put up with, among other things, a bit more beheading than we have been used to. But much of the political class appear to be content with this bargain. I beg to differ. As horrors like those of this week mount, a great many more people might feel that way too”. The take home message is that we are going to have the potential war at home, which will harm business, because of “mass uncontrolled immigration”. A comment even more to the point appeared in a letter to The Australian (25 August 2014, p.11) by a concerned citizen which sums it up: “Religious wars have been with us for ages. What we are witnessing is the beginning of a new world war. Because of immigration policies of the free world over past decades the enemy is already among us. It is inevitable that a terrorist act will occur in this country”. Yes, but why expect only one? Maybe a little way down the track, Australia and much of the West, could come to resemble other troubled spots in the world. It will take more than talk about “Team Australia”, something straight out of the movie Team America, to solve this problem. As other articles in this special edition will make clear it is but the tip of the iceberg raised by the curse of immigration to the West.

MIGRANTS ARE A THREAT TO JOBS AND MOREby James Reed
As Birrell and Healy put it: “Net Overseas Migration (NOM) is running at some 240,000 a year. The result is that, as of May 2014, the number of overseas born persons aged 15 plus in Australia, who arrived since the beginning of 2011, was around 709,000. Most of these people are job hungry. According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) Labour Force Survey, 380,000 of these recent arrivals were employed as of May 2014. Over the same three years, the net growth in jobs is estimated by the ABS to have been only 400,000. This means that these recent overseas born arrivals have taken almost all of the net growth jobs over this period”. That seems unarguably correct to me: there are a finite number of jobs created in a period, and bring in extra people seeking a job and that finite pool is depleted. To be sure, the migrants may or may not create extra jobs (e.g., food demands, which could possibly be met by existing industries without employing more people) but the knockout blow is that there are so many migrants that any new jobs created by them are immediately soaked up. The elites have argued that high immigration is of benefit to the country, not just the capitalists who want cheap labour and a “reserve army of unemployed”, because allegedly migrants are meeting some external, mystical “skills shortage”. However Australian-born and pre-2011 migrants have an increased unemployment and decreased participation in the labour force rate. Recent graduates in accounting, information technology and even nursing, have been hard hit. Birrell and Healy list two reasons for this. First, the skilled migration programme granted visas to thousands of former overseas students (my guess, most Chinese and Indian) after the 2010 Labor government reforms. Secondly, the skilled migration programmes, Skill Occupation List (SOL) allegedly identifies the skills lacking in Australia. The list at present includes accountants, registered nurses and dentists, and many other professions that are already in oversupply. There are hundreds of Australian registered nurses but in 2012-2013, 2,855 permanent entry and 2,853 temporary skill visas were issued to overseas registered nurses, with more on the way. Worse still are the rules for employer sponsorship for permanent entry and temporary entry skilled employment. Employers can sponsor whatever skill they want, regardless of the state of employment and unemployment in the Australian economy. Migrants as well sponsor about half of the skilled immigration programme and one half of those sponsored are already in Australia, part of the massive 1.1 million migrants here on temporary resident visas. In 2012-2013 2,631 cooks gained employer sponsored visas. Most of these migrants were already in Australia on 457 visas. All of this constitutes a crushing case against Australia’s mass immigration programme. Sloan objects that the Australian Bureau of Statistics Net Overseas Migration (NOM) figures are based on the number of visas issued by the Department of immigration and Border Protection and not how the visas are used. If a person gets another visa, that is another head counted. Yes, true, but irrelevant. That argument only means that the number of migrants will be less by a “visa flipping” figure, but it doesn’t refute Birrell’s argument that migrants are taking Australian jobs. In this context leaked Department of Immigration documents have revealed the ugly truth that nine in ten legal skilled migrant visas may be fraudulent, and that this issue is not being dealt with by the Australian government. “ ‘Massive Migration Fraud by Plane Arrivals to Australia Ignored’, Leaked Documents Reveal”, 7 August 2014, at (www.sbs.com.au/news/.../2014/.../massive-migration-fraud-plane-arrivals- australia-ignored-leaked-documents-reveal) Apparently the government’s focus on “boat people” has led to illegal’s now turning to planes to gain entry to Australia. The document doubts that the Department of Immigration is able to monitor illegals, citing a 2009 investigation into a “Somali people-smuggling cell in Melbourne linked to a terror suspect… shut down because of “lack of resources”. As I see it the immigration “chaos” depicted here is too systematic to be just the result of administration failure. It is, as I have argued for almost a decade, as with my brothers at this site, a plan or open conspiracy to change the racial and cultural nature of Australia, and to erode away all the advances to workers’ rights made in this country. It is time to deal with the immigration, multiculturalism and race issues. These basic issues must come before grand plans of economic reform simply because soon there are not going to be enough members of our race with unprogrammed brains, even capable of understanding the financial conspiracy and money problem. Economies and civilisations come and go, but once your race dies, all is finished. |

WCF, FREEDOM AND DEMOCRACY VERSUS THE FASCISTSWe thought the recent behaviour of the protesters at the WCF congress held in Melbourne should be included in this edition of OT. Over many years, the Australian League of Rights folk have been the brunt of such activists and ‘rent-a-crowd’ mobs. As for the craven Liberal politicians who finally didn’t front up to the event. What can one say? Hopefully the participating Christians had their eyes well and truly opened. Bill Muehlenberg in his Culture Watch message wrote:
The conference was a great time of sharing about the importance of marriage and family, and the protection of the unborn. For highlighting these tremendous goods, the radicals were out, full of demonic rage. It was all very telling. What you passionately hate tells us a lot about a person. To hate so strongly the pro-life and pro-family message indicates some real deep-rooted problems. But the conference went ahead anyway. Nearly 400 people packed into the venue to celebrate life, family and marriage. Outside were 50 screaming banshees, doing all they could to prevent people from entering. Fortunately there was an equal number of police on hand who did a terrific job, along with security guards, and even the riot squad on standby. If you read or hear mainstream media reports about this, I can tell you right now that 90 per cent of what they present is false ... For example, when abortion/breast cancer expert Dr. Angela Lanfranchi presented carefully detailed and documented medical research, the TV crews filmed her intro, but as soon as she started discussing science and statistics, they packed up and left. Later they claimed she only presented studies done on rats. While the police and security did a superlative job, one person pretending to be a delegate did get in. Early on she jumped on the stage and started screaming like a maniac. As she was led away by security, she let out an ear-crunching extended howl that sounded like something a trapped animal might make. This demonic squeal was shocking to hear. The hatred of these folks amazed everyone present. Despite being a successful conference, there are two main losers here. One, obviously, is freedom of speech, democracy, rule of law. The very basis of a free society was horrifically attacked by these thugs and hatemongers. Democracy has been stabbed in the back, and we are well on the way to losing it all. The other big loser is the raft of those jumping ship at the last minute.
While every Liberal speaker broke their commitment, and some religious leaders also cut and run, last minute replacement speakers who had courage and conviction stepped in to fill their places. Thus Dr David van Gend and Rev Dr Mark Durie delivered excellent talks. Once again, Babette Francis and her team deserve the highest possible praise. They had to deal with five venues in almost as many days, and still present a successful family conference. She is a champion among women, and has far more courage than most men – including our “Christian” politicians and church leaders… Fred Nile also deserves praise as the only politician willing to present truth and reject the hate of the protestors. The screaming protestors were there for around seven hours, shouting obscenities, stripping off and doing topless demos, and pounding manically on drums like some primitive jungle tribe. The contrast between the civilised, polite, loving and respectful people inside, and the hate-filled savages who tried to deprive them of their rights to freedom of assembly, freedom of speech, and freedom of conscience was startling. If there was ever a perfect picture of the war we are in, the two contrasting sides showed this quite clearly. (emphasis added…ed)
E-NEWS from Endeavour Forum Inc. (https://www.endeavourforum.org.au/)
It is a wakeup call to defend our democracy and freedom of speech when cultural thuggery prevails. There was a huge contrast between dignified citizens exercising their right to freedom of speech and freedom of assembly, and the unruly mob seeking to rob them of these rights and resorting to violence in order to silence them. Yes, everyone has a right to freedom of speech, but the radicals never engage in debate, but only attack and silence any with whom they disagree. The charge was led by the Greens and Alex Greenwich, Independent member of the NSW Legislative Assembly. The latter is openly homosexual and National Convenor of “Australian Marriage Equality”. Greens Senator Larissa Waters made an extravagant claim of “passionate public opposition” to the Congress. This statement is factually false. Public opposition, passionate or otherwise, did not exist except in the wishful thinking of the Greens. An attempt to blockade the Congress and prevent delegates from attending was carried out by three groups, Coalition to Beat Back The Right, Equal Love and Block Party Against Hate. Screaming protestors, numbering about fifty, jostled those entering the venue, and an eyewitness reports that an elderly man was knocked to the ground and kicked. The police did a great job, and the Congress was enabled to go ahead. It was highly successful, the number of delegates exceeding expectations. A bone of contention was a presentation by breast cancer expert, Dr. Angela Lanfranchi, documenting the link between abortion and breast cancer, which opponents labelled as “discredited”. Not so. Research was begun in the 1950s, but very recent studies conducted in China, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, have provided significant evidence of such a link. It is a sad fact that, in the West, women’s lives and health are of less importance to radical feminists than an ideological agenda to promote abortion. Dr Brian Owler, President of the AMA, merely expressed his own personal opinion, as the AMA has no stand on the issue. Dr. Angela Lanfranchi is in fact better qualified in this field. Dr Owler is a neurosurgeon. |
